The old saying says it best - Time sure flies by when you are having fun.
Let me take a few minutes and catch you up on the Thurstons.
Summer is here and the schedule is packed full.
We have a busy schedule thru the end of the summer so keep an eye on our events page and come see us when you can.
A new recording is in the works. It's yet to be titled, but the tracks are done and vocal work will begin soon. We'll keep you updated with more information as it becomes available.
Ron and Jamie have their baby home. He's doing well and gaining weight. (just like his dad.)
Fred is playing golf and working outdoors while the school season is shut down.
Dave & Marni celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary on the 25th. Wow! She doesn't even look that old!
Brandon has a birthday on the 19th. He'll be 17 years old. He's trying to sell his car and save enough money to buy a different one that he likes.
Adam, Cameron and Mitchel have all been golfing every week.
Other than that, we just had a great long weekend off over the 4th of July, however we are out Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and two services on Sunday to make up for it.
The good news is that after a crazy week of singing - we'll get another weekend off! Sounds like a great way to live.
I don't just want to encourage you to support gospel music and attend fun concerts.
I want to encourage you to walk daily with the Lord. Live in his word and hide it in your heart.
God is an awsome God and I am as guilty as anyone of trying to sneak him into my day and not centering my day around him.
(sorry, I got convicted after listening to a sermon over the weekend. Thought I'd share my convictions. Ha.)
God has been faithful to our family and the ministry of the Thurstons.
He has blessed us with great songs to sing that minister to the hearts of God's people and draws the lost to him. He continues to meet our needs spiritually and financially. He is a GOOD GOD!
Continue to pray for us as we travel and share the good news of the gospel.
God Bless.
